Sunburst bag

Here's a little bag to brighten your day!

Size: Approximately 3.5” x 4”
Materials:
Small quantity of size 3 ombre crochet thread
20 red beads
.9mm crochet hook

Stitches Used:
Chain (ch)
Single crochet (sc)
Slip stitch (sl)
Double crochet (dc)

Round 1: Ch 2, sc 6 times in second ch from hook. Do not join.
Place marker. (6 sc)

Round 2: 2 sc in each sc around (12 sc).

Round 3: 2 sc in each sc around (24 sc).

Round 4: [2 sc in sc, sc in next sc]; repeat around (36 sc).

Round 5-9: Sc in each sc around.

Round 10: Sc in each sc around, join with sl to first sc.

Round 11: Ch3, dc in next sc and in each sc around; join with sl in top of ch 3. (36 dc).

Round 12: Ch 3, dc in next dc and in each dc around; join with sl in top of ch 3.

Round 13: Ch 1, sc in joining, ch 1, pull up bead, ch 1, skip next dc [sc in dc, ch 1, pull up bead, ch 1, skip next dc] around; join with sl to first sc (18 ch2 spaces).

Round 14: Sl in first ch 2 space, ch 1, sc into bead chain, ch 2 [sc into bead ch, ch 2], repeat around; join with sl to first sc.

Round 15: Sl in first sch 2 space, ch 3, dc in same space, 2 dc in next ch 2 space and in each ch 2 space around; join with sl to top of ch 3 (36 dc)

Round 16: Ch 3, dc in next dc and in each dc around; join with sl to top of ch 3.

Round 17: Ch 3, dc in next dc and in each dc around; join with sl to top of ch 3.

Round 18: (Eyelet) Ch 4, skip next dc [dc in dc, ch1, skip next dc] repeat around; join with sl to top of ch 4.

Round 19: Ch 3, dc in ch 1 space [dc in dc, dc in ch 1 space] repeat around; join with sl to top of ch 3. Finish off.

Drawstring (Make 2)
Ch 61, sl in second chain from hook and in each chain. Finish off.

Finishing:
Starting at ch 3 of round 18 (Eyelet), weave one drawstring all the way around bag; knot ends together, pull up bead, make a double-knot and weave back in.
Start second drawstring in opposite direction. Weave all the way around, knot ends, pull up bead, make a double-knot and weave back in.
