Perfect to hold your bling *and* your bling! A very easy and enjoyable pattern to crochet.

Finished Size: 11" across

Materials: 370 yards color A, 350 yards color b - worsted weight
81 silver beads, 42 star beads
tapestry needle
size h hook

Gauge: 4 rounds = 4 inches

Special Stitches:
beg cl (beginning cluster): ch 2, dc in first stitch

cl (cluster): yo, insert hook in next, yo, pull loop through, yo, pull through 2, yo, insert hook in same st, yo, pull loop through, (yo, pull through 2) two times.

beaded hdc: yo, insert hook in next st, yo, pull loop through, pull up one silver bead, yo around bead, pull through all loops on hook.

beaded dc fp: yo, insert hook from front to back around next st, yo, pull loop through, pull up one star bead, yo, pull through 2 loops, pull up one silver bead, yo, pull through all loops on hook.

NOTE: for both front and back, work till row 10 in color A and the remaining in color B.

Back:
Rnd 1: Ch 5, sl st in first ch to form ring, ch 3 (counts as first dc), 17 dc in ring, join with sl st in top of ch 3 (18 dc).

Rnd 2: Ch 2 (first hdc), 2 hdc in next, (hdc in next st, 2 hdc in next st) around, join with sl st in top of ch2 (27 hdc).

Rnd 3: Ch 2, (hdc in next st, 2 hdc in next st) around, join. (40).

Rnd 4: Beg cl, ch 2, sk next st, (cl in next st, ch 2, sk next) around, join with sl st in top of beg cl. (20 cl, 20 ch sp).

Rnd 5: Ch 2, 2 hdc in next ch, (hdc in next st, 2 hdc in next ch sp) around, join with sl st in top of ch2. (60 hdc).

Front:
NOTE: (Thread one star bead and one silver bead onto yarn) 20 times, thread 13 silver beads onto yarn.

Rnd 2: Ch 2, (beaded hdc, hdc) in next st, *beaded hdc in next st, (hdc, beaded hdc) in next st, hdc in next st, (beaded hdc, hdc in next st), repeat from * around, join. (27 hdc, 13 beads)

Rnd 3: Ch 2, (hdc in next, 2 hdc in next) around, join. (40)

Rnd 4: Beg cl, ch 2, sk next st, (cl in next, ch 2, skip next st) around, join with sl st in top of beg cl. (20 cl, 20 ch sp).

Rnd 5: Ch 2, 2 hdc in next ch sp, (hdc in next st, 2 hdc in next ch sp) around, join with sl st in top of ch-2 (60 hdc)

Rnd 6: Ch 2, hdc in next st, 2 hdc in next st, (hdc in next 2, 2 hdc in next) around, join. (80).

Rnd 7: Ch 3, dc in each st around, join with sl st in top of ch-3.

Rnd 8: Ch 2, hdc in next 2 st, (dcfp, beaded dcfp) around next st, *hdc in next 3, (dcfp, beaded dcfp) around next st; repeat from * around, join with sl st in top of ch2.

Rnd 9-10: Ch 2, hdc in each st around, join.

Rnd 11: Beg cl, ch 2, sk next, (cl in next, ch 2, sk next) around, join with sl st in top of beg cl. (50 cl, 50 ch sp).

Rnd 12: Ch 2, 2 hdc in next ch sp, (hdc in next st, 2 hdc in next ch sp) around, join with sl st in top of ch2. Fasten off.


Shoulder Strap:
Ch 258, dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in next 96 ch, cl in next ch, (ch 1, sk next ch, cl in next ch) across, being careful not to twist strap, join with sl st in top of ch 3, fasten off.

Assembly:
Step 1: Holding front and strap wrong sides together, working through both thicknesses, matching st, join with sc in first st of strap and any st on front. At same time, sc in next 98 st leaving remaining st of front unworked for opening; working through one thickness of strap only, sc in next, (2 hdc in next ch sp, hdc in next) around, join with sl st in first sc. Fasten off.

Step 2: Repeat above for back and shoulder strap.

Step 3: Edging: working in unworked st across top opening of bag front, join with sl st in first st, ch 2, hdc in each st across. Fasten off. Repeat across top opening of bag back.
